FAW Jiefang J6P Heavy-duty Truck Successfully Launched in Senegal

As a global leading heavy-duty truck manufacturer, FAW Jiefang successfully launched the J6P heavy-duty truck in Senegal, in cooperation with TRACTAFRIC Group, a top African industrial and transportation equipment service group. This marks a key step in FAW Jiefang’s expansion into the West African market, meeting the local urgent demand for reliable, efficient heavy-duty trucks amid booming logistics, infrastructure and mineral transportation.



Targeting Senegal’s harsh road conditions and operational needs, the J6P has been customized with high-strength wear-resistant steel, a powerful self-developed engine, reinforced chassis and optimized fuel efficiency, ensuring durability, passability and cost-effectiveness. Strict quality control and multiple tests guarantee its adaptability to local environments.



The grand launch in Dakar attracted over 200 guests, and the J6P quickly gained recognition. The first batch of vehicles has been put into operation with stable performance, high efficiency and low failure rate, winning high praise from local customers.
